ServiceLog Privacy Policy

ServiceLog ("the App") is a mobile application designed to help vehicle owners record and manage their vehicle service information.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use ServiceLog.
1. Information You Enter
ServiceLog allows you to enter information related to your vehicles and their maintenance history. This may include:
- Vehicle name
- Vehicle make and model
- Vehicle year
- Vehicle mileage
- Service type or description
- Service date
- Service cost
- Next service mileage
- Next service date
2. How Your Information Is Stored
ServiceLog is designed as an offline-first application. Vehicle and service information entered into the App is stored locally on your device using the device's local storage.
The App does not require you to create an account or sign in to use its core features.
Your locally stored information is not intentionally transmitted to a ServiceLog server as part of the App's core functionality.
3. Notifications
ServiceLog may use local notifications to remind you about upcoming vehicle service dates or other maintenance reminders when the notification feature is enabled.
These notifications are generated on your device. You can control notification permissions through the App and your device settings.
4. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
ServiceLog's core functionality does not require:
- User accounts or passwords
- Precise location information
- Contacts
- Photos or camera access
- Microphone recordings
- Payment information
- Vehicle GPS tracking
5. Third-Party Services
ServiceLog may use third-party software libraries and platform services required for the application to operate. These services may process limited technical information according to their own privacy policies.
ServiceLog does not intentionally sell, rent, or share the vehicle and service information you enter into the App for advertising purposes.
6. Data Security
Because your vehicle and service records are stored locally on your device, you are responsible for protecting access to your device.
We recommend using the security features provided by your device, such as a screen lock, PIN, password, or biometric authentication.
7. Data Deletion
You can delete information stored by ServiceLog through the App's available data-management features or by removing the App and its locally stored application data from your device.
Once local application data is deleted from your device, ServiceLog does not maintain a separate server copy of that data as part of the App's core offline functionality.
8. Children's Privacy
ServiceLog is not specifically directed toward children. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the App or applicable requirements. Any updated version will be published at this same web address with a revised "Last updated" date.
